Rhythm, color, illustrations. A new dynamic and openness.

Here is the new Intramuros!

During the survey we conducted in the spring, we were unanimous in our observation: we need to get moving!

“Design is reshaping the world. It is the symbol of life and its acceleration. And you, what are you doing?”

It's true, the world is moving faster and faster, and accelerating even further. The press must keep up or risk disappearing. We can complain about it or see opportunities in it. We've chosen!

This is the mission our new team has set for itself. A new layout entrusted to the young and talented Stéréo buro studio, a symbol of this new wave. A more modern approach to creation and the sectors we cover. A better distribution of news monitoring between what relates to social networks and what relates to the magazine, more conducive to analysis. Ambitious audiovisual development. We have given ourselves the means to meet the challenge with enthusiasm.

This is a new stage in the life of this iconic magazine. Let's embrace the times, because ultimately, they are fantastic...

Thibault Leclerc, editor-in-chief

A bold visual identity

Combining the complementary skills of three artistic directors (Silvia Dore, Diane Boivin, and Christelle Ménage, graduates of the Haute École des Arts du Rhin), the Stéréo buro studio supported the magazine's team, and more broadly the Bee medias group, to which it belongs, in a profound reflection on renewal. The initial request and the stated desire to break down the barriers of design resonated with the approach adopted by the three young women: design as a way of thinking and doing.

Completely redesigned content to be in line with the scope of the sector

Intramuros is getting a makeover! A new layout, new content architecture, new sections, and new directions!

From now on, the magazine is structured into three main parts: the first – Le temps du design – addresses current events, challenges and new generations; the second – Le rendez-vous – looks back at a major event in the sector and explores it in depth over 40 to 50 pages, providing analyses, reports, and of course, a designer profile which is also the subject of the cover; the last – L'âme du design – reveals the full scope of the subject, from textile design to car design, including designer-artisan collaborations. Finally, two pages of "how-to" conclude the magazine and provide designers with some legal keys on practical issues such as project protection.

On the agenda: bias, reflection… and fun!
